Part 20

Doug and Pete were eating breakfast in the dining room the next morning, when Pete said, "I was thinking about what you said about Mac last night and thought it would be a good idea to level with him. What do you think about that idea?"

"I think that's a smart idea," Doug said. "Mac likes you, and I think he would feel better if you were honest with him. In addition, you'll find out how much he already knows about you. If you're really serious about building a new home here at the Retreat, he'll want to know if you have the money to build a mansion. I told Mac we are taking a week off as soon as you selected a man to handle our job while we are away. He said you should talk to RW to work with your man about security. I'm confident you will work everything out.

"I thought you and Mac were getting together yesterday," Doug commented.

"That was the plan until I saw the work that had piled up while we were gone for two days," Pete said. "I was lucky to eat a sandwich at my desk for lunch. I had a brief conversation with him about sex, and rescheduled our meeting for today."

"I'm going to attempt to do a little work today, myself," Doug said. "Don't give me that cross look, honey. I plan to stay in the bedroom all day, and rest if I get too tired."

"Remember what the doctor said, my love," Pete said. "And remember what I told you. You never have to work again. We couldn't spend all my money in two lifetimes."

"I know that, Pete, but I enjoy working. Now walk me to our bedroom and give me a hug before you leave."

When they got to the bedroom, Pete held Doug in his arms and tenderly kissed him. They remained in the embrace for a long time. "You are so sexy, love," Pete said. "I love holding you like this. Damn, you're giving me another erection. I'd better get going before I strip you naked and make love to you again." Pete kissed Doug again, straightened up his clothes, rearranged his penis and took off for the office.

Doug spent the entire day working at the computer. Dustin knocked on his bedroom door at four o'clock to let him know it was time for his afternoon nap. He undressed and got into bed.

The next thing he knew Pete was lying next to him, naked, holding him in his arms. "Hi, baby! I thought I was dreaming when I felt you pressed close to me," Doug said. "I had planned to be up and dressed when you got home."

Pete kissed him, "You are up, baby, and we are not going to waste that erection, are we?" Pete asked. He slipped a condom on Doug and handed him the KY and a rubber glove. "It's your turn to take my virginity, love. I want to know how it feels to have you inside me."

Doug followed the same technique Pete used on him yesterday, and enjoyed the same wonderful lovemaking experience once again.

"That was great, baby," Pete said. "Now I know why you enjoyed anal sex so much, it feels wonderful. I love to feel your skin pressing against me. Let's shower and cover our beautiful bodies for dinner."

After a leisurely dinner, they sat in the den and had their coffee.

"I found it difficult to concentrate on my work today," Doug said. "I felt this terrible loneliness that I couldn't shake, until I realized what was wrong. This was the first day I was conscious of your absence and it was an uncomfortable feeling. If I didn't force myself to concentrate and block everything out, my thoughts invariably drifted back to you. Do you realize we have not been apart for almost two years, except for those two trips I took overseas with Mac? Think about it. We spent every hour together for two years. Other than submariners, I can't think of anyone living that closely and still managing to get along so well. I understand now exactly the feelings you experienced yesterday. I like working with you, Pete. We're a good team, and I don't want that to change."

"It won't," Pete said. "We're both very lucky men to have found each other. I could kill my psychiatrist for his diagnosis. If I had followed my own instincts about my feelings for you, we could have been married long before this. To think my happiness was within my reach all this time. I guess we needed that time to get to know each other better. That third of our relationship is a hell of a lot more fun than the other two. I sure enjoy the kissing and the lovemaking parts, don't you?"

Doug laughed, "You bet, that's the best part."

Pete said, "You were right about Mac. He had picked up fragments of information from my mind, but not the whole picture. He was surprised to learn that Karl Landsdorf was my cousin. I have the feeling he was disappointed that Karl never told him.

"I explained how our marriage has changed our outlook about our future," Pete said. "I told Mac that we wanted to continue working together and feel we are ready to run a new division under MacDonald-Stevens. In addition, we would underwrite the startup cost. Mac said he understood how we felt and said he never had any intention of separating us as a team. He told me that he and Drew went through hell when they were separated and he would not wish that on anyone. For the present, he suggested we start looking for our replacements to take over our present responsibilities.

"Above all, he said that he and Drew would feel sad if we ever left since they have grown very close and consider us good friends. He confided that he has two great projects simmering on the back burner he wants to develop. His only problem was to convince his boss that he was not spreading himself to thin. Mac plans to take Drew on vacation to Paradise Island and try to talk him into letting him go ahead. Mac feels Drew may let him since I will be financing the project. Not a word to Drew about the new division until Mac has worked everything out. He told us to hang loose, and for me to finish my MBA. He said he would have Drew call us regarding the property on his beloved Retreat.

"That man is really something else. He's the most complex man I've ever met. He is absolutely the most sincere, yet he is completely in control at all times. You can't help but admire the guy. In all the negotiations I attended with him, I never once saw him lose his patience. Nor has he ever taken improper or unfair advantage of a competitor. I'll tell you one thing: he is the best boss I've ever had and he's sincere in his feelings toward us."

"I gave him permission to read my mind if he liked," Pete said. "Mac assured me that he would never let Karl know we talked about the family or of their holdings. He also told me his policy is never to discuss the finances of any division with any other division. Each division is a separate and independent corporation. Therefore, it would be our decision to reveal our finances, not his."

"I've some documents for you to sign tonight. I'll FedEx them tomorrow morning. Our bank will be sending you a credit card and a checkbook in a couple of days. I opened a joint checking account for us today so you can get started decorating that villa of yours. You decorate it any way you want, but just make sure you have a firm king-size bed in our bedroom. You may want to call in a couple of interior designers to help you. I don't think you want to waste the time running around looking at furniture. You might want to have them fly down, look at the place, and give you some estimates before we move in next week. I plan to reserve the Royal Suite at Mac's new hotel on the main island. You could ask Lloyd Elliot to recommend a couple of good designers."

"I'll take care of it right now," Doug said. "You've made my life wonderful and exciting." Doug chuckled and said, "It's really nice you turned out to be rich instead of just being beautiful, sexy and a great lay, but you do have one drawback, you can't bear children. I guess four out of five isn't bad."

Pete laughed, "Since you're younger, I thought I'd ask you to do that," Pete said. "Unless it would put you too much out of shape, baby?"

"That's fine with me," Doug said. "If you want to start a family, maybe you should stop using a condom. You know I would like to have your child if I had the plumbing, but since I don't, will you still love me?"

"I love you just the way you are," Pete said.

"Before I call Lloyd, how much do you want me to spend?" Doug asked.

"I really don't care, spend as much as you want," Pete said. "But I don't think you should spend more than a million decorating a place we'll visit only on vacations."

"Are you crazy? I wouldn't spend more than ten percent of that," Doug said. "What's the limit on that joint account anyway?"

"The account will be maintained at 25-million," Pete said. "Whatever you do, be sure you keep copies of all the invoices and mail them to our accountants every month together with the bank statement."

"I feel like I just won the lottery," Doug said. "The first thing I'm going to do is to buy you some decent casual clothes and get rid of those rags you've been wearing. Of course I prefer to look at that sexy body of yours naked, but that will never do. I'm going to enjoy this." Doug smiled at Pete, "Now take the frown off your face. I won't drag you along; I know how you hate to shop for clothes."

"You're really getting into this," Pete said. "I get a kick out of just watching the expressions on your face. You're so darn cute I can't take my eyes off of you. Come over and sit next to me so we can make out." Pete kissed him on the cheek.

"Oh, and more great news," Pete said. "Mac said that he and Drew will be vacationing on Paradise at the same time we are. He wanted us get together for sailing and some island hopping. Naturally I accepted. Why not enjoy the good life for change?"

"I'm excited about our trip," Doug said. "It will be a romantic trip for me; that hotel is where we met. I had that warm fuzzy feeling about you. Now we will return as a couple. It's a fairytale come true for me."

"Are you ready to come to bed with me now?" Pete asked. "You're driving me crazy."

Doug laughed, "I thought you'd never ask. Let's do it, baby."

Mac was in his bedroom, laying naked on the large chaise lounge waiting for Drew.

Drew walked over, removed his robe, and laid next to Mac on the lounge. Mac wrapped his arms around Drew's naked body and held him. "I'm content at last," Mac said. "I thought we would never get everything done tonight. I think we should start looking for some qualified junior executives to take over more of this detail work, how do you feel about that, baby?"

"God, yes," Drew said. "The sooner the better as far as I'm concerned. We're always going to need talented executives to move up the ladder, why not train them the right way from the beginning? Maybe we should ask our VP's to start spreading the word that we are looking before we hire a headhunter."

"I love you, sweetheart," Drew said. "I can't wait to get you alone on Paradise Island."

Mac was running his fingers all over Drew's naked body. He concentrated on his genitals and the tender area just under Drew's testicles. This drove Drew up the wall. His erection was at full mast. Mac smiled, "I love watching you get an erection, because you really turn me on, dear."

"Don't let me come right away," Drew said. "I want this wonderful sensation to last. What did you learn from Pete today?"

"I was completely unprepared for his news," Mac said. "You may not recall me mentioning this, but I was never able to do any deep penetration of his mind in the past. I always felt there was something there he was hiding. I had no problem reading his mind when Doug was injured, but I did pick up a few unrelated garbled thoughts at that time, yet nothing noteworthy as far as I was concerned. I promised Pete I would not repeat what he told me so you are going to have to read my mind dear to learn my news."

Drew penetrated Mac's brain and learned the entire conversation that Mac had with Pete. Once engaged Mac would not release Drew. He projected his sexual desires into Drew until they were almost on the edge of a climax. Mac stopped at that point and led Drew to bed, where they continued their unusual and exciting sexual experience until they climaxed. They were completely satisfied after their lovemaking and were fast asleep in a matter of minutes.

The next morning at breakfast Drew said, "I thought it was a nice gesture to invite the new lovebirds to sail with us next week; I hope you are not going to charge them for the honeymoon suite?"

Mac chuckled, "Why not? They can afford it. I'm just a hard working farm boy with a family to feed," Mac said. "I'm afraid you have made me as softhearted as you, baby. You really are a sweetheart."

Drew smiled, "Thank you, my handsome Prince. You know I still find it uncanny that both Mike and Doug have married within two weeks of one another," Drew said. "Quite frankly, I thought they were both wasting their time with men who seemed to show no interest in them other than business."

"It's odd that they both met their lovers through work, the last place you would expect to meet your future mate. All four have been tireless in their dedication to the firm and I think they are above average executives."

"You're right, of course," Mac said. "Yet both Mike and Doug fell into the same pattern in selecting a lover, and it stands to reason they would pick a person who was unattainable, which to me is a very unhealthy relationship to have, and could have been an emotional disaster if it had gone wrong."

"They were very lucky," Drew said.

"Why don't we create a new division for Doug and Pete?" Mac said.

"Great! We can kick that around when you have worked everything out, Drew said. "That's the reason I want you to hire a group of manager trainees. I'm not going to let you push yourself into a mental breakdown."

"I still find it hard to believe the fortune that Karl and Pete control," Drew said. "Do you realize that their combined wealth makes us look like poor relatives?"

Mac chuckled, "Funny thing, my love, somehow I don't feel poor. I'll really start to worry when you get down to your last billion," Mac said. "One thing's for sure, we know where to go to borrow a few billion."
